Slingco is the authorised manufacturer's representative in the United Kingdom for the Vortek Performance Hoist.

Vortek is the first fully automated rigging system in the world designed to eliminate and replace potentially dangerous counterweight rigging. The system is a complete unit which incorporates hoist, loft blocks, batten and control centre.

Vortek hoist modules attach to standard roof steel and plug directly into the Vortek control panel via control cables. Multiple hoists can be structured as a group to accommodate heavier and larger scenery.

The hoists are controlled via the Vortek Automation Centre which uses an intuitive touch-screen for ease of operation. Simple menus allow the entire technical operation of the rigging system to be controlled from a single station, even if multiple hoists are incorporated.
